Where in the World was Middle Earth?
Tolkien’s Middle Earth appears to have strong geographic correspondences to Europe. The Old Forest is probably in Yorkshire, Mordor is in Transylvania, Rohan is in southern Germany, Khand is Turkey, etc.

LOTR is my favorite movie, I’ve been to Transilvania and is a very nice place, really nice and the stories about Dracula and the people there were great.
